Class 4: Infinite Math Storybook
A logic-based challenge generator helping primary students master multi-step word problems through interactive storytelling.
I designed this interactive tool for my niece to bridge the gap between reading a story and solving a mathematical equation.
Why Infinite?
Unlike a static textbook, this “Storybook” uses a randomization engine. Every time a student clicks “Next Challenge,” the characters, objects, and numbers change, ensuring that the focus remains on the logic of the operation rather than memorizing answers.
What it covers:
- Multi-step Arithmetic: Combining multiplication with subtraction.
- Logical Division: Sharing items equally among groups.
- Reading Comprehension: Extracting variables from a narrative.
